Our thoughts go out to the Sykes family on the death of Homer, their domestic shorthair cat. Rescued as a kitten, he loved to be outside but he never left the yard or wandered. When he was younger and smaller, he would curl up and snuggle underneath Wendy's chin. He was named because it was short for "Homerun" and that is exactly what he was. He liked to give head butts and sit in the sink and wait for the faucet to come on. He and their beagle, Finn, would hunt mice together. His sweet companionship will be missed.
