Nellie Kaniecki

Our thoughts go to Evonne Kaniecki and family on the death of Nellie, their beloved Pitbull mix.  Dear Nellie was adopted as a 3 month old puppy when Evonne was perusing a local animal shelter in search of a family pet.  A lady walked in with the most adorable puppy wearing a purple cast.  Evonne and the injured pup clicked right away and the pet's temporary care giver suggested Evonne might wish to adopt this sweet girl who had been abandoned and hit by a car during a snow storm before her foster mom took her in.  Evonne was thrilled and Nellie found her forever home.  The two immediatly went on a shopping spree and all of the puppy essentials were purchased.  Once Nellie joined the family she became very protective of them and would alert them to anyone on the property.  Nellie joined the family shortly after Evonne became an empty nester and Nellie loved when the children and grandchildren would visit.  She was the matriarch and alpha to all of the children's dogs.  Nellie was simply the best and her love and companionship will be forever missed.
